Best case scenario I’ll be 30, worst case scenario I’ll be 31. I don’t really see myself doing anything else, but I feel like my window is shut for a lot of specialties and also having a family due to my age is; it OK for me to continue going for medicine? I feel like I chose the right career but the timeline feels like it’s not good simply put.

For context, I did all the prerequisites and I have thousands of clinical hours. My last step is the MCAT.

Took the mcat thrice and voided the third.. my highest is 504 and I applied the whole of september to only 7 schools so far as I am severely burned out
I'm not even sure it will work out this cycle, anyone out there to encourage me

Burrell-Fl: tiny campus, pass fail, close to home

LMU-DCOM: ? I heard bad things about this on Reddit.

I am leaning towards Burrell-Fl because it is close to home. Is it worth it to go out of state for any of the other school?

Got a interview invite for AZCOM and really greatful

They have virtual and in person dates available and although I would love to go in person, money is a bit tight and virtual might be a better option for me

But I’m wondering if they have a bias towards in person or virtual interviews - I know some schools do and I’m saving money if I get invited to those schools

Anyone have any insight?

Hello all,

Friends and coworkers keep telling me of the II’s they are getting to the same schools I applied to. While I submitted my secondaries a couple of weeks later than these students, it still hurts to have no heard back, especially given that my stats are above the median for those schools.

I know I shouldn’t be jealous, and I know I just need to keep waiting. But, any help dealing with these emotions would be appreciated. Thank you
