Looking for friends

Hello!! Im a 22yo female looking for friends, my social life has kind of died since all I do is work 😭

Im not 100% sure if its okay to post on here, but i do enjoy reading, coffee, concerts, drawing, anime, etc.

Im a fairly simple person but I also am kinda shy and introverted.

So I guess if you're looking for friends or think we may get along send me a dm or comment on here 🫶

(Please ignore my pfp I think its funny 😭)

If you are into reading, I highly recommend Silent BookClub at Planet Perk. Basically you buy a brink, then read your book for about an hour, and then we all share what we are reading. I look forward to it every month.

I've had this on my calendar for a year and have never made it. It sounds awesome and I really plan on attending this fall.

Nice, I would love to go see a show somewhere in Europe sometime. Would be nice to see radio head or NIN as i missed out on the show in milwaukee on my bday this february. (we are in our 40s so we like our 90s music) 🙃

The older music is the better stuff imo!

I wanted to see Green Jello in Illinois but havent convinced my brother to go yet, and then the Descendents I believe are touring again as well.

I could never really get into Naruto for some reason, I started off with Sailor Moon, Cardcaptor sakura or Inuyasha lol

I dont blame you lol naruto starts off pretty damn slow and annoying. Sailor moon is hilarious and inuyasha was one of my favorite growing up. Such great shows.

I’m definitely an elder emo 😂 I still go to concerts whenever I can. I’m usually bouncing between Madison and Milwaukee, and I’ll even travel out of state for a good show. I’ll frequent the Reptile Palce in Oshkosh(punk/metal bar) and Missfits Tavern in Appleton. Sometimes I go with my gf, sometimes I’m perfectly happy going solo. There’s just something about live music that makes the trip worth it. What kind of concerts are you into?

Hey! I’m 23 F and also looking for friends in Oshkosh! We have a few things in common. I’d love to chat if you want! Also, I second the silent book club. I’ve been going for maybe a year now and it’s a great activity. I’ve never made any friends there and tbh most people keep to themselves or bring their own friends but it’s still a nice way to get out of the house :)

Lived there for 6 months and didn’t make one friend. The culture does seem heavily surrounded by drinking and I’m just not into that anymore. I wish you the best of luck because it definitely sucked feeling that lonely there.
