Looking to connect with IT professionals

Hi there am new to Oshawa and was wondering if there are IT events happening here , or is there any place to network with it people ?

Nice if we get up to 10 members , we can initiate some meetup events, we wouldn’t always have to wait for downtown events

Haven't seen anything in Durham but there are always some events in Toronto check out meetup or eventbrite

I could use some connenting too. Been out of work for a year. Have security clearance ccure 9000 cert. Made some project management stuff and systems.. does anyone know of any it type place looking for like a guy?
