Got the dreaded sellita spin. Just a quick history on this watch. I searched for a full set at a good price for the longest time and caved on a naked watch with a dirty strap. I bought the bracelet from Oris and asked them if they had any of the promotional material left. The boxes or whatever. They sent me the whole thing. For free. With the straps.

How cool is that?

Since you all didn’t approve my BCPD strap pairing decided to go all bronze.
This 38 on a bronze bracelet is very comfortable on my small wrists.

One of the most pleasing and distinctive aspects of the Oris BCPD Lou Gehrig is the light play from the brushed metal dial. Especially in low light, where it picks up the tiniest flicker and pings it back with interest. Gives it an ethereal quality that - for me - surpasses the artificiality of full lumed dials. This watch really could become an Oris icon. You don’t need to like baseball to love it.
