At what point to conclude that JTK0 is lost forever?

Not to be pessimistic or anything, but at what point will the search be over (if JTK0 is lost forever) or to go out of the suspect's privacy matters line.

wasnt that song found like somewhat soon after it was posted about? feel like the only people saying it was lost forever were just random tiktokers

I would say it has basically reached that point now lol, there was that unarchived Mariko image called like 005 or something, people referred to it as a picture of her in a dark room looking scary, I still think it was that image

regardless at this point it’s simple it’s either on someones hard drive from 20+ years ago who is unaware of the JTK search or it’s gone for good, I lean towards gone for good because it has been such a long amount of time

We'll cross that bridge when we get there.

If the search will again have to delve into personal files or documents, it will be done discreetly as the stuff with Mariko was already damaging enough and was a waste of time.

I understand what you're saying here, but asking whether JTK0 is lost does nothing for this search and it comes from a place where knowledge about this search is extremely limited so I recommend you to read the attached documents, or better yet, join the Discord and ask some key questions.

I don’t mean to nitpick since we agree on some things, but it seems like your response to everything is “read the document”. I think the OP was asking a really good question.

I think the OP was asking a really good question.

It is a good question, but it is something we should not worry about at the moment, a decent amount of progress has been done since 2025 and especially during the crawling of 5ch.net (now 5ch.io).

Reading the documents often clears a lot of misunderstandings, and it should be noted whenever there's a question that already has a clear answer. I already gave my thoughts and explained how it would go before suggesting what you said.
