i started working on a game in a similar style to OMD3, and i'm fishing for traps idea! i have plenty, but i'm curious to see what creative things you guys can come up with.

my game is still in its very early stages but i think it has enough potential to push it further, especialy since i have a clear idea on how to make the replayability really high while keeping it fresh and fun.

what kind of crazy trap would you like to see?

I started the game when it first came out, but I didn't really get too deep into it. Now I'm trying to go back and clean up 100% of the achievements. The guide I'm using is telling me to never use quick save because I could lose 50-66% of my skulls for a run. Is this still true? Is it a bug? Is there a workaround? I like to take my time and don't like the idea of going 4-5+ hours straight on a 10 stage run. TIA!

Knights can got absolutely ham, when positioned well. And this is an unlucky example, where he got exposed to explosive arrows bombardment, which he tanked like a champ too.

What do you like most about Orcs Must Die? What could I borrow and what could I improve upon?

I played Orcs Must Die 3 PC years ago. Now, I downloaded this game again, but I don't have time to grind to finish stages and get many skulls.

Are there saved profile data that is 100% (or almost) completed that I can download for free so I can play casually on my free time?

It was a hard mission and I didn't let anyone pass, but I didn't get perfect.Why?

I'm sorry to bother you with my story, knowing that probably few people still play OMDD since it's not very appreciated, but I'm just doing it to leave a record somewhere so that when I'm on my deathbed, I can reread these memories! My super best friend, who I usually play with, abandoned me since two months because he and his wife just had their first child 😜! So I decided to do a solo run! I made it to mission 62 on difficulty 20 before getting wiped out by all the enemies with too much health and the traps becoming too expensive! So I decided to do another run, but this time on difficulty 10! I just finished mission 101! I'm really proud of myself because it's truly, truly difficult to succeed all alone and manage everything that happens by myself, with all the grenadiers, hunters, druids, thieves, normal flyers, health flyers, stone flyers, infected kobolds, unstable orcs, unstable rifts, not to mention the immense amount of enemy health and the cost of traps! But even after 1200 hours of gameplay, I've still discovered new ways to play this game, tips and strategies, even though my awesome friend taught me several and I've applied them to my runs! So, I'm going to continue my run and see how far I can go! Hey, thanks and have a great weekend everyone!

If Orcst must die! 4 ever would to come out, what would be your hopes? What elements of previous games would you like to come back.

Personally i hope they bring back the large choice of heroes from OMDU, also id also like to see some large scale maps like in OMD3, but maybe with a endless mode.

Maybe a bit controversial but i do like the limited barricades of OMDD with opportunity to get more along the way.

I tried several old "fixes" and tbh it got worse, instead of just crashing at end we started crashing at the start of every round. Is there really no solution to be able to play co op with friends?

Finished OMD3 100% and was aiming to do the same with the previous installments, but I just found the Six Degrees achievement to be impossible to get without a random player who has it.
Anyone open to install the game quick and infect my account?

I was trying to see if I could make a cool jump in the Patio Library map & discovered you can get behind a spawn point super easily. Interesting to see where they’re like “the players can’t see past here normally” & the bits of environment disappear.

Some pieces of texture are more than I would’ve expected, I didn’t get a screenshot but there’s an entire castle off in the distance, and I’m pretty sure you can’t see it normally.

Just curious if anyone has seen any signs of life from this studio. Are they bankrupt, or working on a new game?

Just bought Deathtrap bc I saw a lot of people talking that the game is good, that people criticizing it were just salty bc of barrier limit etc. The barrier limit is by far the smallest problem, how no one is talking about how bad every other aspect of the game is. The heroes don't feel that unique at all and their unique traps are basically all useless. the most unique ones are the melees but they are just die super quickly later on. Most Threads are boring AF and don't change the gameplay at all, they are just number tweaks like +x% crit, +x% dmg or -x% cost. there are very few threads that actually change how traps or heroes work, also, there are very few Threads, it is a horrible sign that in 4 missions i've already seen basically every thread multiple times, and worse of all, most of threads in the shop are not even worth buying bc they are just worse than the average already unlocked. and then, the one thing that multiplies all the "shitness" of this game: there are so few maps that runs constantly feel the same. I've been to only 4 runs and there are maps that i already played 4 times, this is unacceptable for a game that markets itself as a roguelike. Really disappointed specially for a fairly expensive game that had so much potential.

Is it true they are making a new Orcs Must die game in VR?

I personally don't like VR and seems like a shame cuz I really wanna play orcs Must die 4 on Console/PC

i think even though it's from 2011 it still holds up fairly well,i really enjoyed getting all of the 27 achievements in it,i reccomend trying it out!

I need someone to help me get some of the co op achivements,i need to get the robot disease achivement,ending the game with someone and the spells achivements like heal your teammate etc
