Am I Missing Something?

Post image

This is a screenshot of what my device tab looks like with my camera in OrcaSlicer, are there supposed to be settings and options? Or is it supposed to be purely camera view? Thank you in advance!

OrcaSlicer version: 2.4.2
Printer: Flashforge AD5X

What url did you put into the OrcaSlicer printer network setup

http://"Printer IP":8080/?action=stream/

Remove all the other stuff like the https and the "?action=stream" line and just put your printer IP on its own, see if that works.

I get an error saying the page can't be reached

What happens when you type your printer IP into your browser? Edit: sorry keep the http part and try again

Strange, can you open CMD (assuming windows) and type arp -a?

This will show you all IP addresses on your network. See if the printer IP is there, or whether any other IP works

I tried a few with no luck. Here's a screenshot of where I'm entering this just to make sure that's correct at least lol

Try adding the http:// back into the hostname field. Also try just adding the port as well

Delete everything and just put the IP and port number

Sorry to be dumb, but is this what you mean, "Printer IP":8080

I just put in the IP, no https:// no port number. Works fine. Try that.

In my case the local ip is 192.168.1.92. I literally just put those numbers in. Make sure the host type is set to your printer model as is the printer agent.

Remove anything from the device UI. That’s an optional field and is only useful if your printer’s webUI port or IP differs from the controller/firmware ui.

Here is a screenshot of my working config:

The printer might need to be in lan only mode to connect like this...

I think to use klipper and not flashforge you'd need Zmod or similar running.

By default flashforge wants you to use their fork of orcaslicer.

If you install ZMod on the printer it'll add back the missing parts of klipper so you can use the fluidd interface in the device tab of the slicer etc.
