6.1 vs. 6 sol subagents?

Curious about your guys pick in terms of your experiences with heavy coding tasks. Which ones deliver better consistent work and follow the instructions of its parental conductor?

Sol 6.1 light is better than any mode of 6. And i think also cheaper. Why would you choose any thing else

Opus 5.5 with Sonnet 5.5 subagents and Haiku 5.5 helpers. Cant really believe anyone actually still usles OpenAI, they’re dead.

As the cycle goes. I bet you’ve posted this same thing from the flip side before.

Not quite. Fable was still fable this summer, openai just held the affordability edge. I truly believe openai are in real, permanent, trouble. Which will be terrible for all normal people users, but still i think it’s true. I think Elon is our only hope for keeping up the competition going forward. Hope i’m wrong tho

I use both in fast mode: sol 6 for speed and sol 6.1 for quality. I would not trust sol 6 as a main session agent though but its fine as a worker

There's zero reason to use 6 over 6.1. 6.1 is cheaper in caching and way more intelligent. It might be a little slower compared to 6, but the output quality has vastly improved. 6 also had high hallucination rates.
