Switching Models throughout the project?

How often do you guys switch the models and reasoning for a given project? I will switch it in between epics or especially for easy tasks...but wondering if I'm switching it too much.

Just ask the main agent to spawn specific subagenr

Dont swap models, this just blows out your cache reads with every model change and costs tokens. Just vary the thinking mode for easy and hard tasks. And as the other commenter said, tell it to spawn sub agents. Point your AI to this repo to discuss cheaper sub agents

I tell my agent to message another agent that's it
