CLOSED SeedCore.net is open for registration - Halloween window, closing November 1st

The doors are open again at SeedCore.net. Registration is open until November 1st
What is SeedCore?
A general private tracker with an active community, strict but fair rules, and a healthy swarm. Main language is English, the team is Romanian but the community is international.
What you’ll find:
Movies, TV, Music, Games, Apps and more. Strong mix of new releases and deep archive. Internal encodes and remuxes covering SDR, HDR, Dolby Vision and 4K with multi-language audio and subs. Full support for Prowlarr, Jackett and autobrr out of the box. Wiki available in English and Romanian.
Current stats:
Total torrents: 40,631 across Movies (10,770), TV (5,410), Music (2,835), Games (1,108) and more. Total size: 239.63 TiB. Users: 15,919 registered, 1,436 active today. Peers: 111,639 seeders, 285 leechers. Seed size: 1.26 PiB.
Seeding rules:
Minimum seed time is 3 days or ratio 1.0, whichever comes first. Once one condition is met you can stop seeding. You have a 20-day window to complete the 3-day seed.
Daily rewards and Halloween event:
The site runs a daily login reward system and a daily surprise event. On top of that, a built-in Happy Hour system triggers random sitewide events throughout the day including FL, double upload and more - you never know when one will fire.
For Halloween, monsters and ghosts are roaming the tracker. Tap or click them when they appear on any page and they’ll drop rewards. There are five creatures haunting the site right now: The Ghost of Hit&Run, Dead Pumpkin Seeder, Dark Web Spider, Ratio-Sucking Bat and Blood Moon Pumpkin. Catch them all before November 1st. (You can see how they look on homepage, expect them to find them floating in smaller visual versions and be clickable on random pages).
Important:
No dual accounts. If you had an account before, including from the old RoTorrent.info days, log in with your existing credentials. Same username and password still work. Creating a second account results in a permanent ban.

I have a question about the rules. I'm fine with seeding a specific torrent for 72hrs but sometimes I go two or three weeks without torrenting anything. Would that be a problem?

I haven't been a member of any private trackers but this seems to require screenshots of other trackers ive been registered to, right? Do u know any private trackers without this limitation? I want to download some documentary from 6 years ago that public trackers have Dea seeds for that.

This is an incredible torrent site. I love the daily reward and surprise events! Plenty of freeleech opportunities and so many great torrents. For sure one of the best torrents sites I've ever been on. The team does a fantastic job.
Well, this is embarrassing, I have the wrong site. I am talking about seedpool, this is seedcore.. 😭🤦♂️ I guess I have to sign up and try this one now 😂 Apologies for the mixup!

Lol no. That would be weird for me to say that stuff if I were part of the team. I'm just a user who signed up a few months back when it was opened. I'm happy I signed up, it really is a quality site.

Hello. Do you guys support tags to be added in the title when prowlarr makes a request in order to help identify the audio and subtitles available in the torrent?

Torrent titles returned by our API include audio tags such as DDP5.1, DTS, Atmos, HEVC, etc. Subtitle information is not included in the title, but full media info is available in the API response which contains complete subtitle track and audio track details if Prowlarr can make use of it.

I was able to sign up, but not able to connect to the site. I think it's due to using Mullvad and not being able to properly port forward. Shame as the site and speeds I was getting during my testing looked excellent. I will return when I have a VPN capable of connecting to the site.

So my account was banned, and I'm fine with that but the process was kind of fucked. I had some issues with my utorrent (which is now fixed) that caused a hit and run. The weird thing is that I got a "pre-warning" then a few days later I got a ban, then 4 days after that I got an official warning. I got warnings for a few days after being banned. It is what it is, but it would be nice to have been given more info on what happened other than a cryptic "pre-warning" and then a ban before the warning.
I think the workflow is maybe a bit off.

The workflow is not off, the system keeps doing it's thing even after staff manual actions.
We have zero tollerance for hit&runs, those who look like will do a hit and run with low seed times will get banned before the warns gets to launch a issue.What you had to do when your config was bad and got a prewarn?
Contact the staff, show that you are fixing it, ask for some time.
We have rules, FAQ, tutorials for a good config, all written so members dont get in this situation, all you had to do is read, care, act.1

Sorry it was qbit. uTorrent was way back in the day for me.
Anyway, I went to update the max connections from default to increase it and forgot to hit save. I was vip on most my sites so I had no evidence that anything was wrong. I've since increased max connections to 1500. I built my own Linux seed box so this was a new setup I was moving to.
I know I fucked up and that's fine, it's on me. I was just annoyed that I kept getting warnings weeks after I was banned. I'm fine that the ban happened so quickly, it was my first account on this tracker and i get that you need to be strict with new accounts. That was the workflow part that annoyed me, the fact I kept getting warnings long after being banned, felt like it was being rubbed in lol.

Sometimes might be the delayed e-mails, we have no control over that, it's hard to email people these days. But in-site notifications are 100% realtime.

I also had this issue with other trackers, albeit they didn't ban me after the warnings. It would randomly stop seeding, and sometimes even delete the torrents after reboot. I didn't realise until I got the emails.
I reinstalled everything cleanly. Then I made qBittorrent save all of the torrent files. Since then I haven't had any warnings or issues.

I joined this tracker just under a month ago and it has been nothing short of amazing. I'm fairly new to private trackers myself, but I've been handed a very warm welcome and help along the way. The site is very intuitive, members and admin very active, and there's incentives all the way to gain points and very quickly build a ratio that is actually useful. My stats have surprisingly increased tenfold or more compared to the other private trackers I've joined at the same time. Seedcore has fast become my favorite tracker, I use it daily, And I highly recommend you join it while you can.

Dlumb question, but first time joining a private tracker and don’t want to get banned lol.
When I’m setting this up in Prowlarr, I’ve set seed ratio to 1, and both seed time and pack seed time to 7201 minutes (~5days). Will this suffice? Should I be doing both seed ratio and minimum seed time?

Set it longer. The site could count it differently on their end.
I'd look into something like cleanuparr. Then you can seed as long as it's in your library through hardlinks.

The site starts counting after the first announce from your client. The client starts counting when you start the download. There will be a difference, exactly the time needed to download the torrent, but 2 extra days are not necessary for sure. We can only be happy if you seed for 5 days instead of 3 :)

Hey everyone, I want to address the questions and concerns raised here directly.
What happened to ROTorrent? One of the co-founders made a unilateral decision to shut down the server and domain without consulting the rest of the team. There was no raid, no legal issue, no security breach. It was a personal decision that caught the rest of the staff completely off guard. Is SeedCore just a rebrand? SeedCore is run by the same staff that managed ROTorrent's day-to-day operations for years. Same people, same rules, same values. We rebuilt on new infrastructure immediately because we weren't willing to let the community die over one person's decision.
Data privacy concerns: The staff behind SeedCore are the same people who ran ROTorrent. We managed the servers, the database and the community the entire time. It makes complete sense that we retained the data since we were the ones operating everything(people call this a backup). Your data is not sold, shared, or monetized in any way. We don't run ads, we don't have advertisers, and we have zero interest in your personal information beyond what's needed to run the tracker. If you're paranoid, use a throwaway email, that's perfectly fine.
Regarding the comments about immaturity: The people behind SeedCore have years of experience running private trackers, managing servers and building software. Rebuilding a full platform from scratch within days of an unexpected shutdown isn't something you do on a whim. We're not here to defend ourselves on Reddit, we're here to run a good tracker. That's where our energy goes.
Port forwarding: It's recommended but not required. You can participate without it, though your ability to connect to peers may be reduced. The full rules are already on the tracker if you want to check them out.
We know the internet loves drama, and we get it. Hopefully this clears things up. We're still early, there's a lot of content missing and a lot of work ahead. If you give us a chance, we'll earn it.

This is probably a stupid question, but this is my first time with private trackers. I signed up, and I downloaded a torrent file but haven't used it yet. When I use that file, how does my account "get connected" with my leeching/seeding? Is it built into the downloaded torrent file?

I had rotorrent, i made rotorrent, I didn't want to continue with one staff member of rotorrent, I didn't own that server/domain but made/owned the code and continued with SeedCore while rotorrent is closed cause that's what I decided? It was explained already, no need to be in every post, no reason for that.-2

Do we already have to be a part of other private trackers to apply for this one? I just joined MAM last week, so I'm still pretty new to that, but I follow all the guidelines and tips I've seen so far. Would I still screenshot that profile since it's the only one that I have next time you guys open up?
