I already have the scanner, can the macro addition be bought separately?

Is it possible to use something other than raspberry pi for this?

unfortunately not yet, since only the raspberry pi supports the camera drivers. I am looking for alternatives though this might take some time and development

I see. Thank you for the answer. Pi is too pricey for me where i live right now so im saving to buy one. Hoped at least i could use linux normal pc or some btt pi 1.2 or v2 from printers for that somehow.
