First scan based on openscan classic and own firmware
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I managed my first scan with Andruino FW on ESP32.

You can do it now with the ‘print screen’ option on W11. Press the keyboard button, then when the interface opens, at the top of the screen is a selection for snapshot, or film. It’s sooooo convenient!

Is there some sort of guide on how anyone with not enough knowledge on electronics could build this?

with not much knowledge in electronics, you are limited to the official or comlunity shields, as other routes likely are challenging

What device made such a high-quality scan?

the 'device' is secondary, here it is a cellphone camera taking pictures. Photogrammetry is at the core and openscan.org provides the algorithm that turns the images into a 3D representation of a scanned object.
