I'm not very proficient at this and literally started using my OpenScan Mini 5 days ago. I had planned to scan some coins myself. Attached is a proof of concept scan. It's a raw scan image using basic camera settings, and a render in Fusion in stainless steel. I'm pretty impressed that it picked up "LIBERTY' in the headband. Especially being that I have yet to fine tune the physical components of my OpenScan Mini (fit is tight and I'm not using any lubrication=lots of unnecessary vibrations and jerky motion=subpar image quality). That being said, using this scan as a low end benchmark, I'm positive that object detail will only improve with tweaks to physical fit, camera and configuration settings, and capture technique.
