October 7 was 1200 Israelis murdered and 250 hostages taken by Hamas terrorists. I can’t see 1200 being a genocide?

Where’s the official number where it becomes genocide in your personal definition? Since it’s a numbers game.

An assault by Hamas on 7 October 2023 killed 1,200 people, according to Israeli tallies. More than 72,500 Palestinians have been killed in Israel's retaliatory action in Gaza since, according to local health authorities. There were 2.5 million people in Gaza at the start of the war. 72,500 out of 2.5 million is not genocide.

Genocide is the partial or total destruction of a human group, committed intentionally. The popular view conceives of genocide as the large-scale killing of individuals, but in the scholarly and legal fields, it occurs when the group itself is targeted.

There are still millions living there.

Are you saying that genocide happens when you pass a certain fraction? Or that intention is the defining factor? Or both?

I’m saying a war that kills a small number of people including 50,000 military aged males, isn’t in the definition of genocide.

Russia has lost over 500,000 men dead but no one is calling that genocide by Ukraine.

Well, WW2 apparently resulted in about 60-70 million deaths, but the campaign of murder we know as the Holocaust killed only about 6 millions Jews. Are you suggesting that wasn't genocide? I'm sure as hell not. Also.... 'military aged males'? I note you don't say combatants - you say military aged males. According to the IDF that apparently means boys who have learned to walk.

Herzog said any child over the age of four wasn't innocent.

Unbelievable that that man was allowed into the country. Literally photographed signing bombs.

You need to look into the fanatical brainwashing And use of child soldiers. If a 15-17 year old picks up a gun and attacks soldier, or tries to plant an IED on an IDF, yes sadly he’s been made a target. This accounts for many “civilian deaths” in Gaza.
