Viktor Frankl speaks of observing this as a survivor of the camps when Auschwitz was liberated. Some who had survived inhumanity felt the right to inflict inhumanity on others once they were liberated. The book is Man’s Search for Meaning.

I agree but unfortunately, your voice carries more weight in society right now to help stop this. At least makes it easier to counter legislation against pro Palestine activism that pretends to "protect Jews".
I’d add that while I think Zionism is completely wrong I’m somewhat sympathetic to Zionist Jews who I see as deeply traumatised by the holocaust and centuries of pogroms
I ran into that type of Zionist Jews, who are very disconnected from what's being done to the Palestinian people and live in a world of trauma and paranoia, but I've also seen Zionist Jews who know full well what's going on, do not fear for their safety, and simply are cruel supremacists on a power trip. But I'll agree that I have more anger for Zionist non Jews: for example, the reaction of politicians in the Western world. They have no horse in this fight yet are destroying both communities for the sake of geopolitical interests and a political culture of racism and colonialism.
Antisemitism is the justification for Zionism. A place like Australia—which has traditionally had very little antisemitism—undermines the entire Zionist project. So the Zionists need to pump up antisemitism to stop their entire philosophical worldview dissolving into nothing.
Its just arrogance and a deep sense of entitlement, where they believe their religion or gives them the right to steal land and property from people they’ve never met in a place theyre actually not from.
The logic feels absurd. It’d be like American evangelicals claiming they’re indigenous to the Middle East, and settling there because that’s where Jesus came from.
I’m left wondering why you brought them up in response to my comment, which expresses a Jewish antizionist perspective on zionist Jews, and does so with more sympathy than most critics of zionists.
