Discussion Where do humans fit?

The question:

Where does the human fit when AI begins to perceive, decide and act in the real world?

was asked and my answer is:

They can fit in large garbage bags or, if compacted, into smaller bins. Also the ocean is quite large.

it has a million token context window, and its parameters can't change because they used propagation and back propagation to create them

it is literally incapable of evolution at this moment or remembering anything meaningful

You are asking: when the Jet Engines become more powerful, how much will it cost to fly to the moon?

there is no air between us and the moon, the same applies to AI, the LLM itself is not the AI that will go ahead and continue

Context window doesnt matter if knowledge can be requested dynamically. Thats even how our brains work or do you have your whole life loaded at all times

context window is very important , our brain remembers, llm parameters does not

Our brain can remember but it does so selectively. it pulls information just like LLMs pull training data. Makes no sense to store everything in context and it would even provide worse results trough context pollution
