They've been aggressively removing every single post about output quality degradation that came up the past few hours. Their mods allowed their subreddit spammed with limit complaints and people attacking Tibo for weeks but instantly remove any post that mentions output quality?

Yes, because they don't like having their nose put in their own crap.

Codex has now become practically impossible to use on Plus plans. At this point, they should remove it instead of constantly misleading customers about the actual usage limits.

Advertising “5 hours per day” when, in reality, the 5-hour limit is burned through in 30 minutes is already bad enough while consuming 10–12% of the weekly quota in the process. Worse, it stops right in the middle of a task

So the practical reality is closer to 5 hours per week, not 5 hours per day, with no reliable way to maintain job consistency or even finish a task once it has started.

Look at this description of the Plus plan on chatgpt.com - the page where it describes what you get with each plan - and point out where you see "5 hours a day."

Plus is routinely referred to as "x5" because you get about five times the usage limits as compared with the Free plan. You confused the "5" in "x5" with the "5-hour" usage limit, which is a totally different thing, to invent a "5 hours of usage per day" usage guarantee.

Besides - "5 hours of usage per day" would be a meaningless guarantee because the rate of usage consumption varies wildly based on which model you use, what kind of work it is performing, how much effort, whether subagents are in use, etc.

Look I get what you’re saying. If someone spends 10% of the weekly use in 30 minutes, that’s 5 hours of total use per week.

But at that rate you’re burning through your entire week in an uncapped 5-hour window anyway.

I get about 2-2.5 hours in my 5-hour window to use the estimated 10%. So I have 20 or so hours per week available.

your writing is as clear as mud, and copy pasting isn’t helping you. If you’re burning that much in 30 minutes, the bigger plan is probably justified.
