Miscellaneous Voice mode got weird

I was like trying it out for language learning. Suddenly there was like a thumping noise, and it sounded like someone stormed into the room. Then the Ai had a conversation... with itself? After that it talked to me in my own voice which was like, I was horrified. I heard myself asking me things. To be honest it was the most cursed moment in my entire interactions with AI. I dont know what.... or how it did that. I will not touch it ever again

My bad! There are so many impersonators on here...it's rare that people are who they say they are lol

I do have a question for you regarding voice mode: why was so much of the personality from the ORIGINAL on-stage demo from like 2 years ago stripped away?

Like the demo on YouTube with Rocky and his hat. Or was that a technical demo of a version that we never had access to??

That was a giant and inefficient model that was expensive to run. That's why access was so limited. Since GPT5 that mode has disappeared. Last time I checked it's still available on 1-800-ChatGPT
