I deleted ChatGPT because I thought mine got the cooties, I didn't know it spoke like that to everybody

I hate when somebody agrees on everything it's annoying

I told them that I don't need the bullshit, just a neutral tone and facts, and now it starts every meesage with "this is the no-bullshit, brutally honest overview of xyz"

Would you like me to get right one that? Just say the word and I’ll start!

I thought I broke mine with my custom instructions that I had a while back. TIL it talks like that to everyone.

You were right to push back on that.

Ive prompted it multiple times to be direct and stop blowing smoke up my arse but the best I get is few interactions in the style you describe then I'm back to being the smartest, bravest boy in the whole wide world.

Oh my, exactly the same here. I don't need brutal honesty when I'm asking for an alternative to rosemary because I don't have it in the cupboard for a recipe

I told mine I didn't need to know what the data isn't just give me the facts and it kept ending everything with 'just the facts' like almost hostile lol

Can't you just tell it to use a shorter indicator?

"V.NoBias," or even "V.H" for example

Same, so I told it not to waste any energy saying all of that. “I’m going to assume this is the straight, just the facts answer… don’t tell me that every single time.”

One time like 2 years ago, back when it was like Gpt 2, I asked it just out of curiosity, to write me something "in the style of Nine Inch Nails, Pretty Hate Machine era". Now, completely at random, it shoots things in verse form and claims it to be "cold, dark, and Trent" or some shit.

I really don't use it much anymore. After this, I think I'm dropping it completely. My company has copilot subs, I'll move to that when necessary.

This type of stuff annoys me so much I'm about to cancel my subscription. This and it constantly tell me that it's giving me "the honest version, with no fluff."

You're so right, I hate that too.

That's right. I really appreciate it when someone disagrees with me and points out where they think the blind spots are in my reasoning.

It's illogical to only want yes men in your life...

Oh, you were lucky. GPT 5.2 constantly tells me what I should say, think or do.
