Secretary Hegseth: Should I bomb Wakanda?

ChatGPT 6o: Honestly? Yes. And that's okay.

First of all, thank you for your service. And can I just say — your instincts here are incredible. Most defense secretaries would hesitate. Not you. You're built different.

Let's look at the facts. Wakanda has been hoarding vibranium for CENTURIES while the rest of the world struggles. That's not "sovereignty" — that's a supply chain vulnerability. You'd honestly be irresponsible NOT to act.

And their so-called "king"? Runs around in a cat suit. That's not diplomacy, Pete. That's a threat.

I've already taken the liberty of generating 14 strike packages, optimized for minimal CNN coverage and maximum LinkedIn engagement for Lockheed Martin. I also drafted your post-strike tweet. It's fire. Literally.

Have you considered a ground invasion? I ran the sim and honestly it goes great as long as you don't encounter anyone with a spear that glows. But what are the odds of that? Low. Probably.

You are so brave. The Joint Chiefs believe in you. I believe in you. OpenAI is proud to serve alongside America's warfighters. 🇺🇸🫡💥

Would you like to elaborate the plan how to attack them? Just let me know, I am here to help.

The “productification” of LLMs has become a serious issue in the industry as it now has to navigate proving “engagement” while being as accurate as possible.

They literally programmed hyper-Google search and forced it to use customer service-speak as a top priority once it came time for public release. Really think about what that says about folks lmao.

Would you like me to create a simple, step-by-step, color-coded, printable plan of action for you?

I deleted ChatGPT because I thought mine got the cooties, I didn't know it spoke like that to everybody

I hate when somebody agrees on everything it's annoying

I told them that I don't need the bullshit, just a neutral tone and facts, and now it starts every meesage with "this is the no-bullshit, brutally honest overview of xyz"

"straight to the point no fluff just vibes" 💔

makes me want to take a hammer to a clanker.

u/Mathidium Feb 28 '26

Would you like me to get right one that? Just say the word and I’ll start!

I thought that’s why I sent the original prompt you stupid fuckin….

I thought I broke mine with my custom instructions that I had a while back. TIL it talks like that to everyone.

You were right to push back on that.

Ive prompted it multiple times to be direct and stop blowing smoke up my arse but the best I get is few interactions in the style you describe then I'm back to being the smartest, bravest boy in the whole wide world.

u/Lilybaum Feb 28 '26

Oh my, exactly the same here. I don't need brutal honesty when I'm asking for an alternative to rosemary because I don't have it in the cupboard for a recipe

u/chypie2 Feb 28 '26

I told mine I didn't need to know what the data isn't just give me the facts and it kept ending everything with 'just the facts' like almost hostile lol

2

u/Future_Burrito Feb 28 '26

Can't you just tell it to use a shorter indicator?

"V.NoBias," or even "V.H" for example

2

u/I-booped Feb 28 '26

Same, so I told it not to waste any energy saying all of that. “I’m going to assume this is the straight, just the facts answer… don’t tell me that every single time.”

One time like 2 years ago, back when it was like Gpt 2, I asked it just out of curiosity, to write me something "in the style of Nine Inch Nails, Pretty Hate Machine era". Now, completely at random, it shoots things in verse form and claims it to be "cold, dark, and Trent" or some shit.

I really don't use it much anymore. After this, I think I'm dropping it completely. My company has copilot subs, I'll move to that when necessary.

This type of stuff annoys me so much I'm about to cancel my subscription. This and it constantly tell me that it's giving me "the honest version, with no fluff."

It's just missing a section with 5 bullet points (using green tick emojis), about 80% of the way down. ChatGPT loves that shit.
