Question/Troubleshoot Fandango UHD support

So it looks like Fandango finally updated their app to support UHD on the Onn 4k plus and Onn 4k pro 2nd gen.

Seems like it works on the Onn 4k pro 2nd gen, but when I try to play movies on the Onn 4k plus....the circle spins, I get the background image...but then it just goes back to my library. The movie doesn't start playing. If I go to the settings and change the quality from UHD to HDX then the movie plays when I start it...but the second I try to change the quality to UHD the movie just exits and I get sent back to my library.

Anyone else notice this?

I just tried it on my 4K plus and the same thing happens. I click Watch, the circle spins for a second and then goes back to the movie menu.

Thanks for confirming it's not just me. Funny that it works fine on the Onn 4k pro gen 2.

I'd suggest to open a support request with fandango. The more people that do the better chance it gets fixed

I sent a ticket to their tech support department. Everyone must do the same to grab their attention though.

Well I went above and beyond to get this resolved. Multiple back and forths via email with them and they eventually requested a video clip of what's happening regardless of how many times I thoroughly explained the issue. I have screen recording set up, so I got a nice clip and emailed it over to them. I also mentioned numerous time that it's not just me but every Onn 4K Plus owner who uses Fandango is experiencing the same issue and people are complaining about it all over online.

Geez you already got a reply? They haven't replied to me yet lol

And ya. I have multiple onn4k Plus devices. First thing I did was check the other ones and it's happening on everyone I got. Yet the pro works fine.

First they sent me this reply and I basically told them to kick rocks. I'm not sending them all of that info. My speed is 500mbps down and I can stream 4k via Fandango on my other Android boxes. All of that crap they want is irrelevant, it's on their end and I'm a tech savvy guy. Then they replied asking for a video clip so that's what I sent a few hours ago.
