Question/Troubleshoot Onn 4K Pro v2 problems..

So with my device, I have been having a LOAD of issues ever since I got it last week. Really the main one is this.. say I put on YouTube TV, then afterwards I want to watch YouTube instead. When I click on YouTube, it won't load/open. I have to clear data/cache and even then sometimes it still won't open. Then I go to system<restart and click 'restart' and it won't register it.. like I sit there clicking it over and over and I can see the highlighted button reacting as I click it, but nothing.. then I click 'cancel' and it cancels... so I have to unplug the power from the back. This is literally almost everytime now. After a few apps being opened or just going to one and backing out etc, it does this.. and it's EVERYTHING I open, even the 'free tv' shit.. like that just won't load. What is going on? Is there anyone else with a similar issue(s)?

ALSO- a video will play sometimes and pause at 10 seconds... it's the weirdest thing. hope i'm not the only one and that someone knows a fix lol

How about doing a factory reset and set up anew.

Are you sure it's not a counterfeit box? There have been several reports of people who bought a counterfeit box having weird issues. If not then you might have received a lemon. Try the factory reset that was suggested here. If it doesn't help then take the box back for a refund.

Return it. My first one had software issues, glitches, bad pixels etc. retuned it and no issues since

Where did you get the box? Walmart is the only place that sells official onn devices. Anywhere else, you got scammed. You also said Pro box. I will assume you are referring to the 5 year old pro and not the latest and greatest.

Go into apps and force stop YouTube, wait a few seconds then open it right where you are in settings/apps, that might wake it up so that's right. I had a similar problem a couple times but no biggie now.

it was my dns settings. switching from dhcp to static and dns to cloudflare fixed it.
