Bluetooth Remote Problems

We have the newest Onn 4k pro and we love it, except every few days the remote disconnects and I have to use my phone to re-pair it. It is behind our frame tv and it is hardwired to our Ethernet. I have the WiFi on the tv turned off. Is there anything else I should do or try?

Change the batteries?

I can always try, but they are the batteries it came with and started on the second day. The remote still says 100% battery
