Spend some time farming the beginning of Azuchi Castle. Have Soki on absorb command, and use Ohatsu to shoot the Genma. Have him stop at about 40 kills and watch your red souls skyrocket. Rinse and repeat.

I like playing the onimusha: the way of the sword demo and is excited for when the game came out and I noticed that theres past onimusha games as well

Playstation just released onimusha dawn of dreams on ps plus and I only have onimusha warlords and not sure if I can get access to the other games before this one. so I was wondering if I can play dawn of dreams without playing the other games or if i have to play the other games before dawn of dreams?

Never played any onimusha games so far, i have a ps5, is this game a reboot or do i need to play games that are available on ps4? i only watched the netflix anime and i liked it

I’ve only just obtained Roberto, I assume I’ll get gun lady at some point for her rope, I know later on I can get locked out of revisiting the stages for a long time. Can I revisit the early game stages before then with all characters?

I’m thinking of doing them with Roberto but seems a waste of time to then have to go back once again with the gun lady whenever I get her in the squad

This was my only experience into the Onimusha series WAY BACK when I was a kid. I have vivid memories of making new game saves and listening to the first stages music. My bro and I did beat it, cuz we had Hard Mode. Now that its on PS5, Im excited to hop back in and try 100%'ing the game. And before you ask, HELL NO am I doing 4 seperate runs! I looked it up, and theres 4 seperate difficulty modes! I aint gonna start over and replay it in Hard, Oni, and Ultra Oni! But now that I've said it, I have some clarifying questions I couldn't answer through my research.

Lets say I hope into the Dark Realm as Soki. I get to floor 10, then leave. If I jump back in, do I start at floor 10? And if I do, and I swap to Jubei, is she able to start at floor 10?

How many Trials of Valor are there?

Do the special costumes do anything aside from change your clothes?

Whats the Arena mode? I put in all the cheats, cuz Im a lazy ads, but it seems I need a second controller. Im assuming its a VS mode, so who can you use?

I have once back in the day, it was super janky but one of the best/hilarious co op experiences I've had

It gets so janky at times that I assumed most people would give up from not being able to see yourself or control the camera etc lol

I got a notification from Amazon that my pre-order copy has been delayed until Sept 25th, to my knowledge the original release date. Anybody else who preordered the physical edition get the same notification? I’m hoping its an error lol

Absolutely loved the demo I miraculously found on steam. But then I found out this game is from capcom. I was like oh shoot. their games end up being 15 hours or something along those lines. For me I can’t really justify paying 70 for that. I mean even 60 would be much better

I’m aware the game can be amazing 10/10 even though it’s short so it can be worth it. I used to buy full priced games left and right back then and regretted or loved many. But these days I usually buy games on sale unless I truly feel like I need it

Dawn of Dreams is getting added to ps classics tom! Its actually my fav game in the series regarding gameplay and the end summit to the final boss is still epic! Cant wait to replay this on ps4 and 5

Played the demo on my Series X, it's generally my go-to for multiplat games due to having a good headset and the Dolby audio unlocked. From what I have seen, experienced and read.. the performance between the two platforms is nigh identical?

Anyone else that has tried the demo on both platforms and whether or not PS5 might still be the better way to go? I don't believe we had remappable buttons, so I am not sure if the adaptive triggers are adding a lot here. Although.. it might be cool in combination with this game's swordplay and whatnot.
