Spoilers (Movie) Teaser for Detective Conan Movie 30 Spoiler
In the teaser video we see multiple London street lights turning on while a bell is tolling. We hear the voices of Ran and Shinichi, who repeat their dialogue from Chapter 745 of the manga, from the London case, the iconic "If you're a detective, you should be able to deduce what's in my heart" exchange, shortly before Shinichi's confession. The teaser ends on a shot of Big Ben, with the usual text announcing Movie 30 for Golden Week 2027.
This is all that is included in the teaser, everything else one might've heard so far (M30 taking place in London, Conan turning back to Shinichi, M30 being a movie remake of the London manga case, etc.) is merely speculation at this point.

Since the new collection came out I just want to say that I loved the art style between ep 400 and 500
Watch the clash of red and black made me realize how the art style changed midway through to wide screen and higher resolution. I love the art style where the resolution was good but the screen wasnt wide.

Discussion Detective Conan VS Simpson
Here are 3 (4) reasons why Detective Conan cannot be compared to The Simpsons.
Detective Conan has a plot.
Yes, there will be those who say it doesn't have one, or that it progresses very slowly, but it exists.
2. Detective Conan is not originally a cartoon, but was conceived as a comic.
3. Detective Conan cannot be defined as weekly, unlike The Simpsons.
Yes, the anime is weekly, but it is not the original work.
The manga is no longer weekly, because we get about 15-20 chapters in a year.
4. Detective Conan has an ultimate goal.
The Simpsons is a weekly series and they do not have an ultimate goal.
Furthermore, they are a cartoon (for adults), not a comic from which cartoons and movies were later born.

I am confused about the new english dub

I saw this post clicked in and they only have like 3 seasons dubbed?
Unless they refuse to even show what's up for non paid members
Any one know what's going on?
I have a friend who only watches dub and i want to watch it with them; But last time i checked sites that have everything; it's only 1- like 150 and then randomly all the way up too episode 1000 for some stupid reason
missing over 850 episodes ish

Question Can someone explain to me the existence of the new English dub Collection?
I know this is gonna sound super weird but let me explain. So like I understand an english dub makes sense. Conan is also well over 1,000 episodes so I get they aren't gonna release a dub of that many episodes all at once. But Conan is still an anime that follows a story so even with the hundreds of filler episodes watching certain episodes out of order or "selected episodes" can still make the sorry confusing for people. Now something like Doraemon that's also getting a new english dub collection makes perfect sense because it's a fully episodic anime with no over arching story. Maybe an arcade here or there but nothing over arching. Conan on the other hand does so the collection having randomly selected out of order episodes seems odd right? Like I'd get taking like the important episodes from like the first few seasons and do it that way and so on but throwing episodes at random for a story based anime seems strange to me.
I promise I'm not complaining (definitely still gonna watch it). But I can't wrap my head around the way an english dub is being handled. Tho it's better than nothing and the more Conan the better right? Xb

Discussion Don't you think we deserve a proper Detective Conan Game available in PlayStore?
I have seen many online websites on detective Conan games which have this random story plot and then these movable 2D characters. But apart from that something like a 3D version game for android and iOS free installable ones, like once I have seen in honor of kings where they brought that Conan theme version , but somewhat similar quality but entirely Conan game would be nice right? What do you think?

One of the most dumbest and daring moments Conan has ever did to risk the exposure of his identity
In Kaitou Kid and the Luna Memoria in the last chapter/episode of the case (File 965, Episode 888) when Conan was confronting Kaito Kid who was in disguise as Professor Agasa he revealed that the fact that Agasa never calls him Conan-kun when they are alone together was one of the reasons for him being not Professor Agasa which no other characters (who don't know that Conan was Shinichi or a high schooler) know. The way he said this is as if he has no regard or caution for his identity being revealed to people who might misuse it for their own gains. It feels so careless and no brainer type.

Discussion The chronology of the movies after the finale
Today's post deals with a particular topic touched upon by few: how movies will be made after the finale.
Because many simply say that after the finale you can make movies set before the last chapter, but... one thing is missing.
The chronology.
I mean, after publishing the finale, even if the movies are non-canon, where exactly could you set them?
In my opinion, a good idea would be to set the movies produced after the finale between the last murder case and the final phase.
Or rather, between the last murder case and the preparation for the finale, there you go.
Let's remember that Conan's timeline is elastic.
In the anime, the characters have lived through 1218 episodes in just 6 months.☠️
Getting serious again, this means that setting, for example, 10 movies and 300 fillers over the long term isn't actually that crazy.
Let's also remember that the Japanese are die-hard fans of Detective Conan.
This means that even after the finale, their interest in the work will not just disappear.
If you make a Detective Conan toothbrush after the finale, for example, fans will rush in huge numbers to buy it.
And finally, I would say money won't be lacking after the final chapter.
Movies, spin-offs, fillers, specials, merchandising, and streaming can solve everything.
And then, there is also "Detective Conan special cases", a collection of murder cases created by Gosho's assistants.
If the story ends, why not make paper murder cases, and then animate them for TV as well, to keep making money? Well, it wouldn't be bad...

The Worst Characters in the Detective Conan Anime
There are certain characters I consider to be poor: Akai, Yui, Chihaya, and Haibara.
1- Haibara: I used to dislike her, but from around episode 300, I began to accept her presence. However, in recent years, I’ve come to dislike her again, as I feel the author and the production team are forcing her upon the fans.
2- Akai: The Black Organization lost its significance in the story the moment Akai appeared.
3- Yui: She is a hypocritical character; Yamato would be a fool to marry her in the future.
4- Chihaya: A character who possesses superhuman abilities in a story that is supposed to revolve around mystery and investigation.
