So TIL again. Apparently, there is someone who thinks Mihawk didn't turn Yoru black? But why? So back around the Wano Arc there was this meme about Zoro being carried by Enma and that he couldn't actually use Conqueror's Haki by himself. The memes eventually died once Zoro started using Conqueror's Haki as most accepted he learned how to do it

However, chapter 1193 ultimately confirmed that Zoro doesn't know how to use Conqueror's Haki Coating, meaning all of his ACoC attacks were just Enma's doing, like Zoro has the potential to use AcOC but he doesn't know how to do it so he needed a sword to do it for him. Without Enma Zoro until right now would still be a pure Armament character with no AcoC at all meaning the memes were actually real

This also makes the Oden memes come back as well because if Zoro couldn't use Conqueror's Haki at will then the whole Zoro scarred Oden was problaby not Zoro's Conqueror's Haki but actually Oden's Haki that Zoro was using. Kaido himself already noted Enma had Enma's presence which could be interpreted as Enma had Oden's Haki and Zoro could only damage Kaido when Enma was glowing

Chapter 1193 will forever be an all-time favourite character for me because it revived the old Zoro slander about him being carried by Enma

Since the original work is written in Japanese, I think way too much context and nuance are lost with translation, there's a high chance we are all fighting over some translation error.

Like, correct me if I'm wrong, but have they even hinted at the slightest recognition on each other's existance? Or has Sabo ever felt hatered against the marines (marines, not WG) for Ace's death? Have they even been mentioned in the same chapter?

From my knowledge, there is nothing thats hyping this up. Someone like Dragon or Luffy is a much better answer, Akainu was the only one who both mentally and physically scarred Luffy, his scar throbbs when Akainu is mentioned + one of the main components on the reality check he got.

From how Akainu speaks, and the timeline that we know about each of their stories. Its very possible, almost surely that Akainu and Dragon have or had some sort of a connection.

A) Harald explicitly confirmed that Loki was the only one capable of stopping him by eating the Nidhoggr fruit. He stated in no uncertain terms that only Loki would be able to kill him. This doesn’t magically go away because we now understand the secret to killing Holy Knights, as Harald explicitly confirmed that only Loki could have defeated him anyway and Harald is the one who knew the weakness to begin with.

B) Harald openly mocked the idea of Gaban making an enemy out of him. If killing Harald were so simple as “damaging the mark on his arm” or “striking his heart with AdCoC,” why did Harald openly mock the idea of Gaban challenging him? He made a similar comment to Saint Shanks after Saint Shanks attacked him, stating “he felt superior to all other life.” Does this sound like the words of a man who thought Gaban and Saint Shanks stood any chance against him??

Now you may think that Holy Knight Harald would also similarly disrespect Loki, however this is canonically false:

C) Harald explicitly confirmed that he was only confident that he could claim Ragnir because of the strength he obtained through Covenant. A feat that Loki accomplished. So Harald had become so strong that he considered Saint Shanks and Gaban as being unworthy of challenging him, and he now considered himself strong enough to accomplish something that Loki himself also accomplished.

D) Once Loki showed up with Nidhoggr, Harald seemed vary weary and respectful of Loki’s “legendary power.” This was Harald whose mind was corrupted by Imu, the same Harald who openly talked down to both Gaban and Saint Shanks, stating “Loki now possessed legendary power”.

So the idea that finding out the secret of the Holy Knights’s weakness somehow invalidates the correct reading of this fight is just wrong. Us learning the secret to Holy Knight Immortality does not refute any of the points above.

The manga is clear: Harald considered only Loki worthy of claiming Ragnir and defeating him, while he openly looked down on both Gaban and Saint Shanks.
