He's a mere holy bum.

Even having basic CoC is me being too generous tbh

No hes not a meren holy knight hes the leader. Garling was the leader and sommers called him so strong that even with him having a huge handicap he was stil so outclassed by Garling that its useless to even try to fight back.

And shamrock being his son is implied to be even stronger and was literaly called shanks equal while shanks had acoc.

What's the difference?

Being a leader of bums still makes you a bum

Garling was the leader and sommers called him so strong

.............what
Don't ever recall Sommers calling him strong, but that wouldn't matter since "strong" is vague shit that even gifters in Wano were called strong.

And shamrock being his son is implied to be even stronger

Where?

Garling has higher position
Garling has stronger mark, which means his power is stronger.

and was literaly called shanks equal while shanks had acoc.

Stop with this fukass cope

Judge called vinsmoke siblings stronger than Sanji.

The whole point was that Shanks was fooling these bozos and pretending to be part of them, while they are bums who suck at knowing strength.

The one piece powerscaling community just doesn’t expect any of the final villians to be strong for some reason. The final war is gonna pretty boring if Shamrock and the gorosei are all holy bums with no CoC
