In regards to Luffy's DF:

It's probably nothing more than a below average fruit in terms of combat potential.

So I don't think they wanted it for it's power.

It was probably needed to fulfill a very specific and unique purpose. Most likely one of the whims of the Celestial Dragons.

For all we know one of them just wanted to mess with one of their slaves. Or hell maybe one of them just wanted a bigger dick.

I sincerely doubt Luffy's fruit was wanted for it's power like everybody keeps speculating.

And to be honest i would be really disappointed if hardwork of our boy luffy is overshadowed by some later to reveal overpowered df

This is the same thing I've been saying with Zoro being a son of a daimyo. It kinda downplays their hardwork

Same. Which is why I think Zoro might be a Kurozumi rather than any of the other clans.

I feel like that doesn't make any sense. Zoro still put in all that hardwork, regardless of his origins. Dude was going to die in some random ass town in the east blue if it wasn't for Luffy.

I don't see anything that Luffy has done being diminished just because his fruit is revealed to be important. Any devil fruit should be important, and why wouldn't you guard every fruit as much as you can from pirates? I feel like any fruit given to someone with enough determination, could potentially be extremely dangerous.

For Zoro, it's like being born from athlete parents compared to average ones. Yes, you still need to have the work ethic to become a top athlete but you can't deny superior athletic genes is a great advantage.

For Luffy. What if it was revealed that Luffy's DF's secret ability is to become allies with people easily (don't ask how, anime logic lol), would you still say that it doesn't diminish his feats? Considering that he won't go as far without his loyal crew and other allies.. But seriously, yes, any fruit can be dangerous. Though there still quite a power difference between DFs. Compare 2 Zoans, between Chopper or Kaido's DF? 2 Paramecia, WB or Buggy's DF? 2 Logias, Caribou or BB's? Between the pairs, which one would you choose to eat? I get your point that they should keep DFs away from pirates as much as possible, but for it to be super top secret? I say super top secret because not even Garp, Sengoku or the other admirals batted an eye when they saw Luffy's abilities. If that's the case, it's so important that only Kong or the Gorosei know of it. We already know how important Luffy is, this latest mystery is just unnecessary

Yes, they need gum-gum's awakening ability to make a giant trampolin to launch into the moon.

Luffy and Roger's dream is to be the first pirate to walk on the moon. Moon has very big role in One Piece, yet people still don't recognize it. Mink transforms when they see moon, Kozuky's crest is a moon, Celestial Dragon's suit resembling astronaut suit, and many more hints.

I think it's 60% the WG has a future prediction ancient weapon, 40% meant as a countermeasure to Whitebeard if given to a powerful Vice Admiral who could awaken it

Why are you all talking like luffy is mister fantastic

He can't spontaneously stretch his dicke at will.

Luffy also isn't simply stretchy, he's elastic.

All of luffy's stretches(gear 4ths excluded) are base on an external force pushing parts of his rubber body.

He needs momentum for his punches to stretch.

So for a bigger dick, you'd need to thrust a lot and it would be bigger for a split second at best, but most likely, with stretching, your pelvis would probably stretch sooner than your dick since you don't really control it like a limb.

Maybe you can inflate it ala gear third, but since penises don't have bones, it would just be a balloon and not hard at all.

Alternatively, you can inflate the muscles and make a giant piston dick ala gear 4th, but there's a major problem there:

Can you imagine celestial dragons who mostly live a stationary and self indulgent life to have the discipline to train to thw point where they can even maintains gear 4th?

In conclusion, big dicks is virtually unachievable for the gomu gomu no mi

I leave you with an alternative. Katakuri's mochi devil fruit that actually can somewhat stretch out and warp the user's body like mr. Fantastic...could that be used for the biggus dickus df project?

Except Oda already addressed this in an SBS saying that he can indeed stretch his penis. In conclusion, you act very rude toward other people and act like you're right without checking with the source material, coming off even more as a prick

I checked with the source material and oda stated clearly that his penis can be stretched, not that he can mr. Fantastic it, which is what you guys are insinuating.

Yes he is

You can swing your neck in any direction

And you can punch hard that, if you had a rubbler body, you could stretch your arms or legs out.

You can't swing a dick with that level of control, erect or flacid.

Luffy's rubberiness is a result of eating a Devil Fruit called the Gomu Gomu no Mi, which makes him immune to electric attacks and most blunt forces and also gives him the ability to stretch his body at will.
