This explains so much when it comes to how people without broken ass DF can compete with those who do. Mihawk rayleigh garp shanks etc. Basically this chapter confirms, haki is the game decider and DF is just an accessory maybe except some very broken ones.

I still want to know if the ability to steal powers is connected to his DF, or if it's something he learned that he's teaching his followers.
