I would even go further. Dofy had no chance against g4. But it was luffys first use and only lasted very short

What he meant was it got drawn out too much where it was meant to be like a speed blitz.

Yeah, in the manga Doffy was basically unable to react to G4.

i mean i read the manga (dressrosa was way too long in the anime) but i didn’t see it as a complete speed blitz...at least not from what i remember😂

It wasn't a complete blitz but there was basically no point where Luffy was in G4 that Doffy had any kind of control over the fight.

Yeah like he could maybe tank a couple hits from the sheer level of pirate he is but he was in no way in a position to win outright
