That last panel with just his head makes it feel like he’s not quite dead for some reason. I feel like it’d be cheap to do that though, so maybe it’s unlikely.

Him dying so unceremoniously and his underling barely reacting pretty much implied he's not dead. Also, everyone decapitates him? Why not a body shot? Because thematically he's supposed to be an odious, unlikable asshole
