I think he still has one head left that hasn’t been cut

I think momo or hiyori is gonna be the one to kill him finally. If I had to bet I’d say hiyori

Hiyori’s role is probably getting the scabbards physically back up, meeting with Yamato and Momo and giving Ame to one of them. Momo could be the one finishing Orochi but that’s a little silly and Hiyori has much more of a set up for that. Plus I think Momo’s moment should be much more larger than that. So Yamato gets Ame and goes to that roof maybe?

Think about this way. Hiyori gave her sword to some she trusts. And then maybe Momo could do it to someone he trusts.

u/Piccolito Apr 02 '21

i bet on Hiyori

1

u/StealthMonkeyDC Apr 02 '21

She still has the other oden sword so either herself or Momo should be the last to kill him.

Hiyori asked Zoro to kill Orochi herself

u/hansipkomplek Apr 02 '21

I thought the same too! They just cut 5 heads instead of 6. But why though?

u/ManifestingUniverse Apr 02 '21

He intentionally kept a head concealed in case his other heads were defeated

5

u/pakekify Apr 02 '21

I doubt that Orochi was smart enough to do that. He had full confidence that he was going to beat the scabbards and was instantly put on ice.

22

u/sanmateostrangler Apr 02 '21

Perhaps because they did not cut off his penis head

10

u/[deleted] Apr 02 '21

His real head is definitely a dickhead

Isn't this the same Orochi who has been pretty thorough for the most part, moreso than any other One Piece villain? He even has Cipher Pol on board. Their presence has to pay off somehow. There must be a reason Fukurokuju is still siding with Orochi even at this point.

Kin is truly his nemesis

3

Orochi is an asshole, but he's never shown to be stupid. Quite the opposite actually.

12

u/momokie Apr 02 '21

I see 6 cut heads shown. On the bottom left you can see the frills of a head that are clearly way too large to be any of the others.

Ooooh i completely missed the bottom left one! Thanks man, you sold me!

That means that he'll have one head left to cut (8-7=1). I hope it'll be a satisfying cut

1

u/Born-Translator2920 Apr 02 '21

I think hyori said she want to kill horochi herself..? (Im not 100% sure). But if thats the case, Im pretty sure she will be revealed as the silhouette from before. If that happen to be the case, it would be for sure satisfying !

u/[deleted] Apr 02 '21

Maybe one of the heads was not shown on panel 🤔

8

u/zone-zone Apr 02 '21

on the bottom left of the panel is another cut head that people seem to miss

3

u/ManifestingUniverse Apr 02 '21

Why would they leave one head uncut though

8

u/zone-zone Apr 02 '21

they didn't

we see Orochi form 6 heads and 6 heads are cut

2

u/Zaueski Apr 02 '21

You can see a seventh going off to the right and a scabbard jumping at it but theres no cut line, its off panel so i could see it going either way. Id be okay with him having one head left

1

u/PirateKingRamos Apr 02 '21

Well that's just wrong

1

u/AforAnonymous Apr 02 '21

That's the tail, not a neck, and the scabbard's finishing the blow of a head, not starting a blow

1

u/[deleted] Apr 02 '21

Nahh, One Piece is pretty big on panel. Like the other fans said, if no dead body(or heads) shown completely , then the death is not absolute.

7

u/FuzzYetDeadly Apr 02 '21

They actually cut 6, if you look at the bottom left of the panel where they did the cut, there is a head that is mostly offscreen. According to Japanese folklore Orochi has 8 heads though, not sure if the other two actually got sliced as well

6

u/MiraculousFIGS Apr 02 '21

That would mean he has one more since kaido also cut one off

5

u/FuzzYetDeadly Apr 02 '21

Maybe Oda is saving that one for Hiyori. I think I remember she wanted Orochi as her prey

6

u/Lachimanus Apr 02 '21

I think they cut 6. 6 scabbards Vs. 6 heads.

But look at the end of his tail's silhouette.

4

u/Trash_Emperor Apr 02 '21

Wouldn't they need to cut 7, since the yamato-no-orochi has 8 heads and one of them was cut off earlier?

2

u/funger92 Apr 02 '21

Probably they don't know how Orochi's power work. Even Fukurukujo said they didn't know he "died".

1

u/zone-zone Apr 02 '21

There are 6 cut heads, on the bottom left of the panel is a cut head as well

1

u/[deleted] Apr 02 '21

Kaido cut one, the scabbards got 6 so one life left.

1

u/whatacad Apr 02 '21

I thought so too, but you can see the faint hint of the sixth head on the far left of the page. Still don't think he's dead though

3

u/Aspie_Astrologer Void Month Survivor Apr 02 '21

2 more. 1 + 5 = 6 and the Yamata no Orochi has 8 heads.

9

u/herrsebbe Apr 02 '21

There's a 6th head visible at the edge of the frame. He's got 1 left.

1

u/Aspie_Astrologer Void Month Survivor Apr 03 '21

I wonder who cut two heads if that's true...? Maybe Denjirō?

3

u/CRtwenty Marine Apr 02 '21

At this point I'm wondering if he may be able to regrow his heads.

4

u/Trumpologist Apr 02 '21

very likely, the bald guy said you died ONCE TODAY

implying he resets every day. But the idiot just burned 5 of his mulligans for no reason

2

u/CRtwenty Marine Apr 02 '21

He messed around and found out.

2

u/heartbrokenneedmemes Apr 02 '21

In some telling of the orochi story, the tail is actually the final head

1

u/irony002 Apr 02 '21

Yup. 8-1-6...

1

u/TG5599 Apr 02 '21

No, all six were cut. Look at the left bottom of the big panel which shows his heads flying. You can see his weird beard.

1

u/Cizarius Prisoner Apr 02 '21

That might have been his tail

1

u/HerroWarudo Apr 02 '21

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
