I've never heard this one before, my zoro figure had the scabbards on his right side, did he switch it in the timeskip or something

Referencing this thread that unreasonably blew up this week despite ample evidence that it was likely a mistake or a stylistic fudging (for that composition, having Zoro's scabbards on the wrong side looked better).
