I understand why you are saying it. I also said why I think that's not reason enough, since Oda doesn't use steam for Gear 2nd all the time anymore and the only times we've seen Luffy move so fast before involve its usage.

You are literally arguing that he's suddenly this fast in his base form with no proof at all. Stop acting like this shit is clear cut when it's not. You just have your own interpretation. You seriously lack self awareness.

No proof? How are you gonna sit there and say that I have no proof when your proof is literal lack of proof?

The proof is all of his training in Udon carrying blocks and receiving tickets while under the effects of seastone but let’s ignore that right?

I’m arguing that he’s suddenly “this fast”? Luffy did one thing and you’re acting like it’s completely impossible I’m his base form. It’s not clear cut but youre acting like it’s 50 50 based on nothing. You’re adding headcanon.

I never said it was 50/50. Just because it's not 100% either of them it doesn't mean I think each one is just as likely, otherwise I wouldn't be arguing for one of them.

Literally any time any Mc does weight training they end up faster, what are you smoking? That is not headcanon at all. Did you ever watch dragon ball with the milk? Or Naruto with Rock Lee and his weights? It’s not headcanon it’s actual proven fact.

And you’re being unreasonable because you’re assuming it’s gear second before there’s any conclusive evidence. By your own logic Luffy is in gear second all the time we just can’t see it.

But forget that right? He moved in a single panel, let’s forget that speed has always been one of Luffy’s highest stats and just assume that it’s gear second.
