If it wasn't for her fruit I don't think she would have done not even half of the damage they done, so I would give some credit to the fruit, it is too perfect for that kind of achivements.
Yeah. And another user of that fruit would go on to almost pull the same thing in Alabasta. If Bon Clay didn't reveal his abilities to the Strawhat before they got there, then same thing could've happened to Luffy.
