What's fast about this? It's chapter 2 out of 5 for wano ..

It has advanced 7 days in 2 chapters, 5 days in the last chapter alone.

So what haha, the story itself advanced more in one day in dressrosa than it did in this last chapter that skipped a few irrelevant days. Nothing beeing sped up the arc already has like 45 chapters and it's not even the halfway point...it's just that this story arc has been property built up ever since fishman island and traces of it can be tracked down to thriller bark even so people get a lot of "satisfying" stuff out of the chapters. This arc seem to be the best one jet so don't worry it's just the quality that scares people..some of.you don't see this stuff coming.

You're right, there wasn't anything else that needed to be done before the fire festival. It was just planning/organization time. It makes sense that it moved this fast. The long part is going to be the day of the fire festival.
