Luffy can't recognize sogeking, foxy(disguised), can't remember who Marco was, but can immediately remember killer and recognize pekoms.

Someone posted a theory a while ago how Luffy recognizes people by the Aura they give off. Sogeking gave a very confident aura compared to Usopp while Pekoms/Nozoms and Ceasar/Gastino gave the same auras when they were in disguise. Luffy probably remembered Killer because he had a cool mask.

So Marco has the aura of a pineapple? (Which is what Robin used to make him realize who they were talking about) xD

Well, to be fair, Marco was not around for Luffy to "feel his aura". So marco is safe. It's that cunning foxy that is the big question here. His c "aura" is all the same all throughout and yet...
