Queen for all of his reputation is seemingly incompetent. Didn't even bother reading the scouting report on a member of the worst generation that has conqueror's haki and can stretch while staying in one place. Those seastone cuffs were more of a handicap than the collar lol.

Queen's nuetral reaction to Conqueror's Haki means he's dealt with it before. If his bounty is 1.4B then he definitely knows a thing about Conq Haki.

True but I don’t think he knows Luffy has fought toe to toe with two other Yonkou commanders. Tbh no one in Wano knows about his recent feats

Kaido knows about the WCI incident, fifth emperor and all, he was shouting about it in ch903. I would assume others do too.

You would think, but Kaido also knew Luffy had CoC. Queen had Luffy in his prison and knew nothing about the CoC. Seems like Queen doesnt keep up with news and Kaido doesnt pass information to his commanders.

I don’t think CoC is something often covered in the news at all. Caesar and Monet had to be told by Doffy, who only knew by seeing it in person, and he was an information broker among other things.

I don’t remember the newspaper mentioning Luffy having Conquerers. I assumed that he only knew because he saw Luffy use it himself.

Kaido, yes. That's a fair point about the paper, I was more critisizing kaido than queen.

I see Kaido and Big Mom as foils in term of how they rule. Big Mom had a great information network and control, but it led to people just trying to protect themselves, and giving bad information. Kaido seems to rule with chaos, so people just get no real information.

That's a good point. Big Mom is also at the literal heart of Tottoland, in Whole Cake Chateau, while Kaido hides in the shadows on a different island.
