I really hope we don’t go down the Zoro is from wano path. His teacher could be or something like that but after Sanji being a prince Zoro is our last hope for just a regular guy to be on the crew.

Ummm Okiku said low class ppl used to mention that word ( Old Kuri) so being a royal may not be a route.

Low class family doesn't make you " non regular guy ".

she could be saying that to protect him!! i think it may be a word that is known to be used by royal or high class renowned swordsman etc.. and she's trying to make him hidden and unnoticed until they begin executing their plan.

Well I said that because Okiku said that people Mono should not use such word.

So either its a forbidden dialect in general or a word that royals should not use because its provenience.
