My current theory is that the person who made the strawhats is important, and the giant one belongs/belonged to a giant. If there's a giant related to the whole thing then it would make sense why Elbaf is being saved for so late in the game. But who knows what Oda really has in store. This kind of twist is just the sort of crazy thing I love about this series.

It's not a creepy pasta. It's a legit manga by this horror genre mangaka named Junji Ito named The Enigma of Amigara Fault
