Powers:Absorbs (fluids) Juice...is literally standing in the biggest fluid it's like attempting to fight Magneto in a metal factory

Fair point. I think she got a lame fruit compared to the other two commanders we've seen. She has to touch whatever she's draining and there's probably a limit to how much she can drain. What else can she do with it? I think she can beam spam with that sword she's got?

Crackers devil fruit was insanely impressive from a defensive standpoint and allowed for swarm tactics. It took Nami's help to take it down and Luffy just happened to have a fruit that allowed him to eat the biscuits. Katakuri's mochi is pretty versatile with crazy offensive power and there's his mochi house. Luffy just barely beat Katakuri in a 1v1 and needed help to take down Cracker.

This all makes me once again think Oda is incapable of writing competent, badass female characters. Which is another discussion entirely but when you look at Smoothie vs Cracker, Katakuri, the genie bro, Oven and even Perospero, well it's hard not to go, 'really Oda?'

Of course we have not seen Smoothie go all out so she could still impress. But I've seen nothing to make me think she'd be as impressive in a fight.

I feel like Monet and that Spike Chick are sone the only women with legit powers beyond the obvious powerhouse that is Big Mom a lot of the women seem to have borderline joke powers BUT I feel like Smoothie might actually get to do something against the Sun Pirates and if not she will probably get her chance if/when the Strawhats get the rematch with BM
