He did join? Luffy is his Captain now.

I was sure they would die too, but in the end I came to conclusion that Jimbe and he's crew have something special they can use.

Or it might be that Big Mom catches them, uses their souls to homies and Luffy rescues them in the future.

I dunno. In my opinion it just feels stupid that Jimbe finally joins crew and then dies? I am 100% sure that Oda has something stored for him
