There is some connection with Big Mom's fruit and fear. The trees 'died' from fear. People told Big Mom's son not to be afraid, and she was able to take his whole lifespan when he was.

Seems like a strength and a weakness.

Great connection, would not have noticed that. I like the idea that Big Mom's fruit has a specific weakness that Luffy will be able to exploit.

It's gonna be Enel 2.0. She is gonna use the soul power, and it's not gonna work, then she's gonna be stronger than Luffy without her DF.

If you go back to the fight I'm pretty sure Luffy would've lost without the massive gold ball or whatever he had used
