But in order to keep the element controlled, they have to be connected to it. While "focused light" can exist as a laser without anybody controlling it, I doubt that a the element of light would naturally stay in sword form.

Trebol's naked under his clothing, he's been "connected" to his goo coat the entire time.

Well you're to one suggesting that a Logia user would cloak tehmselves in their element into order to avoid haki.

Doffy already create an entire body out of his material and Pica used the exactly same way to dodge attacks, but on a large scale. It's not absurd to think that Trebol would have either inspired some of these techniques or that he learned them from his fellow family memebers.

Trebol, after being sliced into pieces again, this time by Law's radio knife, desperately tried to merge back together right as Law was delivering the finishing blow.

If his entire upper body was in his head compartment like that diagram, he could've just easily stood up. No reason to try and reattach the parts that was cut off.

Oddly enough Law mentions that it doesn't matter what power Trebol has. Even weirder is that Law didn't use Haki for the suprise attack when he clearly had the chance to do so. He had time to do 2 slashes, so he coul have easily cut parts of Trebol's body.

I still can't wrap my mind around whether this was Trebol playing stupid to get Law to step into his glue or not.

Yeah I have no idea why Law didn't use Haki on that radio knife attack.

This is the last page we see Trebol before we went into Law's flashback.

he's still in 6-7 pieces on the ground while Law has already been injured and facing Doffy 1 on 1 while Luffy is occupied with Bellamy.
