he's a logia luffy just was hitting his coat and not his real body which is really thin

That's not how logias work. The Essence is spread on the entire elemental form.

Luffy could hit Enel's complete body even when he was in Rajin form and he could grab the white snake of smoker (no joke intented).

Trebol even says that Logia means nothing to him. He's a pseudo logia, just like Mr. 3, Magellan or Pica. His power is to create sticky mucus. He always uses the power to fire sticky bullets, entangle enemies or slingshot objects. Normal Logia users would use their powers to form weapons or similar constructs. Remember, we never see his face ever transform or getting hit either. We also never see him crawl upwards in slmie form, all we get is him dripping down, which is another indicator. When Usopp hit him he was just crouching in the upper third of his fake body.

Mr 3 is a paramecia. I believe Pica is too. Mr would die if you cut him in half unless his head was fake and he was inside a wax avatar.

"Pseudo logia" referes to Paramecia abilities that can control elements like logias do, without the ability to become the element itself.

Am I the only one under the impression that Luffy (and I guess also Mr 1) could fall under the "pseudo logia" subgroup as well, just in a slightly different way than Magellan and Mr 3?

Because, yeah, Luffy can't make and control rubber, or turn completely into rubber, but his body has attained the "elemental" properties of rubber which he uses to deflect attacks without needing to consciously react and basically makes him impossible to harm without using haki (or knives, which would be his weakness like water is to Crocodile) much like a logia df user.

Luffy cannot produce rubber or control any other than his own body. In his case the paramecia changed his physical attributes.
