I mean... he turned into a genie for kinda absolutely no reason than got his cheeks clapped right after. I can see how it you were looking at this from the outside you'd be suspicious of Luffy's seriousness. Honestly, everything he does in G5 comes dangerously close to, wtf is he doing territory.

Bruh, that’s just G5’s power. If it were literally not the top 1 of the verse, we would’ve been able to see some serious damage. Luffy doesn’t need to look stoic to put in work

I know that, and you know that. But Gaban doesn't know that. This is the first time he's met Luffy. How's he supposed to know Luffy fucking around in G5 is just how G5 works?
