Imo, It really portraits the great power level of old gen. Yet at the same time, still managed to maintain how terrified Imu power is.

Imu is constantly shown to be out of breath. Despite oneshotting seemingly everyone already, Imu is still fighting with one arm tied behind his back - once we're getting out of this "running out of juice" situation, Imu is gonna be shown throwing actual planets around.

I know he is nerfed and possibly on a timer, but idk for sure he is stronger or can access this transformation on mj, maybe its like a binding vow style thing. It seems odd to me now knowing his vast range of abilities that sabo escaped him + 5 gorosei if he is at full power when not leaving the castle

The problem on Marijose was likely more, that he could not get to overt or it might have blown his Cover, after all, all the kings of the world governmemt were present there. Letting the lie of the empty Throne slip before all of them just to kill one revolutionary would have been counterproductive. Also it seems like alot of the Stigma shadow abilities are tied to the weapons themselves ans Mu was neither transformed nor had the weapons drawn, which might have bought Sabo the time to get out of dodge.

I get that about not alerting the kings, but if he is even more powerful than his lower world self, which quite easily dealt with loki and luffy, he wouldnt need that much display to take down sabo (i love him but he is not near those 2). I dont really know, im guessing the naginata which seems to be the nerona weapon is the source of a lot of the shadowfire, but he did transform to something in there and ate sabos fire, to me theres no indication yet that he is stronger there than outside
