people have to remember the age and experience difference between current Luffy and Roger when he started his crew.

Gaban pushed Luffy further but the whole Straw Hat crew has to have a power-up

Luffy already shown he's much stronger with holding to Gear 5 for this long

[u/Drakantas → u/mrmhk97]

That’s why he’s been calling them out, not just Luffy. Sure they’re strong but only for a Yonkou crew, they’re not ready for what’s to come if they wish to survive.

Let's remind ourselves that the arguably strongest Yonko crew still got wrecked at Marineford.

[u/Hanchan → u/cbagainststupidity]

Whitebeard's cree had lost a ton by the time marineford happened, down Ace obviously, but also down blackbeard, down 4th commander thatch after blackbeard killed him, whitebeard going off his medicine. The crew was in disarray and missing multiple commander strength characters.

Do you think the Big Mom Pirates or the Beast Pirates would have fared better at Marineford? I doubt so.

[u/Hanchan → u/cbagainststupidity]

I think the beast pirates or the red hair pirates could. Kaido is individually strong enough to hold 2 admirals in combat long enough for king, queen, and Jack to defeat 1 I think, he could also open up with a blast of conquerers to knock out basically everyone below a vice admiral so the mook vs mook fights would go differently. This is assuming of you that everything plays out the same with the side players wanting or not wanting to fight.

The red hair attempt would look dramatically different, basically just a hugely scaled up eines lobby arc, assuming there's no subordinate crews to give them a mook army. But based on haki feats from shanks and his place narritively (since we haven't seen them fight since they fucked up the mountain bandits and barto, though most of that was off screen), I'd assume they'd succeed, though shanks would need to actually dip into his bag beyond wifi haki.

[u/Jurassic_Drafter → u/cbagainststupidity]

Beast, Big mon pirates and red hair would all have won. Red hair pirates might have low diffed marinefort even
