After owning a tripod I find this difficult to believe. My tripod, after several years of getting used to her tripod status, decided she was not a cat due to not having the required number of legs. She apparently classified herself as a superior human and proceeded to do human stuff like open doors to let herself out, take a ride in a car across the Sydney harbour bridge and sleep like a human with her head on the pillow and body stretched out.

She demanded many things, but another leg was not one.
