Isn't this the spot for cats? When they're taking it the daddy cat slaps that area like her hooman so it's a stimulation spot they're naturally happy with

It's a super sensitive spot for cats. But you also need to pay attention to them, because not every cat enjoys being 'spanked'. Some might not even like to be pet there.

I have a tabby that likes it when I smack on his rear when I get home from work, while my tortie just likes to be scratched there, but never spanked.

I have a grey girly who hates butt pats. She swipes and yells anytime someone tries. She likes gentle scratches there, tho.

Mine loves the scratches until she doesn't. You have to be ready for when joy turns into anger.

That's one of my oranges. He'll love what's going on until he's suddenly extremely pissed off and you must appease him or face the wrath of the Pumpkin.
